Khusta Adams is a dynamic force in Africa’s industrial chemical landscape, blending over 17 years of commercial leadership with deep expertise in B2B strategy, market development, and raw material distribution. As the Founder of Khusta Chemicals, launched in 2024, he has forged strategic partnerships with global giants Epsilon Carbons, Brenntag, Tynox & Carbon Chem to deliver high-performance chemical solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa & Middle East. The venture focuses on specialty carbon blacks, performance additives, and tailored chemical formulations for manufacturing, coatings, plastics, inks & water treatment sectors.

In parallel, Khusta serves as Vice President of Sales & Marketing I Africa for DuoKem LLC, where he leads regional operations with a sharp focus on volume growth, product innovation & market share expansion. His role spans the development of pricing strategies, distributor networks and customer service frameworks that align with the evolving needs of industrial clients including R&D.

• Previously, Khusta held senior roles at Orion Engineered Carbons, United National Breweries, Unilever & Brandhouse Beverages, where he built a reputation for unlocking new markets, optimizing sales channels and driving sustainable growth.
• At Orion, he managed the Rubber & Specialty business lines across Sub-Saharan Africa, establishing a resilient footprint in specialty blacks & engineered materials across Sub-Saharan Africa reporting in Germany.
• Khusta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Marketing from Walter Sisulu University, along with a diploma in Sales & Distribution. His global perspective is reinforced by certifications in Strategic Thinking & Execution for Growth, Data Analysis (University of Cape Town), Sales & Technical Managers (Institut für Wirtschaftspädagogik – Germany) & International Business Studies (Shanghai University of International Studies & Economics).
